When 2K invited us to design an influencer kit for Mafia III, we immediately buckled up for a thrilling ride into New Bordeaux, a reimagined 1968 New Orleans. Our aim was to marry the game's captivating underworld atmosphere with our expertise in creating unique, engaging experiences.

Countdown to Launch: Artifacts Unveiled

In a strategic move to ignite anticipation and excitement, we decided to unveil these treasures in the six weeks leading up to Mafia III's launch. Each week, a new artifact was revealed, amplifying the buzz around the game, and driving pre-release sales.

From the game’s captivating tale, we found inspiration in Lincoln Clay’s vendetta against the Italian mob. Our collection of ‘secret handshake’ items honored this story: a classy whisky glass for nightlife and Lincoln’s ties, a Vietnam War jacket for his past, and ‘classified files’ for the covert intrigue.

Our Mafia III influencer kit embraced the game’s Districts system. Swag items echoed New Bordeaux’s diverse districts, from vibrant French Ward to perilous Bayou Fantom. This immersed recipients in Mafia III’s world before stepping into Lincoln’s shoes.

The kit ignited social media buzz, winning influencers’ praise and 2K’s approval. Just like the Mafia adage, “Family isn’t who you’re born with, it’s who you die for,” the kit united the Mafia III family, building excitement for the game’s launch in a memorable, authentically Mafia way.
